Common Questions About Pool Safety Covers In oakville
HOW MUCH DOES A POOL SAFETY COVER COST TO INSTALL?
For a professional mesh safety cover installation in Oakville, you’re looking at a total investment between $3,000 and $5,000 for a standard-sized pool (16×32 or 18×36).
If you have a large custom-shaped pool with stone water features or a raised spa, the price can climb toward $6,000+.
CAN A SAFETY COVER REALLY HOLD THE WEIGHT OF A PERSON?
Yes. Our professional installations ensure that the brass anchors and stainless steel springs are tensioned correctly to provide this life-saving protection.
HOW LONG DOES A POOL SAFETY COVER LAST?
A high-quality Latham safety cover is designed to protect your pool for 10 to 15 years, though many homeowners see even longer lifespans with proper care. Because Latham is the largest manufacturer of safety covers in North America, they use specific proprietary materials that outlast “off-the-shelf” alternatives.
DO I NEED TO BE HOME FOR THE POOL OPENING?
Not necessarily. As long as we have access to your backyard, your pool equipment, and a working garden hose, our team can complete the entire process. We will email you a digital “Opening Report” once the system is up and running.
HOW DOES A SAFETY COVER PERVENT MY POOL FROM GOING GREEN?
Algae needs sunlight to grow. While many companies sell standard 5000 mesh (95% shade), Crush Pools recommends the 7000 or 9000 mesh grades. These block up to 99% of sunlight, ensuring your pool stays clear and significantly reducing your chemical costs when we open it in the Spring.
