We keep things simple and efficient for both our customers and technicians by billing all maintenance services weekly to the credit card we have on file. That means we do not offer the option to pay on-site for regular maintenance visits. Our maintenance schedules run smoothly when payments are automated, ensuring our team can focus on keeping your pool clean and clear, rather than chasing down payments. It also helps ensure you don’t have to be home or worry about leaving a cheque. If you’re interested in maintenance service, we’ll walk you through setup, including billing, when you sign up.

Yes, we absolutely can! If you’re enrolled in our weekly maintenance program, we’ll handle pool water testing as part of your service. That means no more weekly trips to the pool store with a sample in hand.

We’ll keep an eye on your water’s balance, helping prevent any issues before they start and making sure your pool stays sparkling clean. This service is only available to maintenance customers, and we do limit the number of clients we take on each season to ensure quality.

You can also bring a water sample into our store for your FREE professional water testing.  

During our busy season (April – June & September – October). We do charge a cancellation fee if you cancel less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.

Yes, we do recommend backwashing your filter after vacuuming the pool. Vacuuming pulls dirt, leaves, and fine particles into your filter system. Backwashing helps push all that gunk out of the filter, keeping it clean and working efficiently.

Without backwashing, debris can stay trapped inside and reduce the filter’s performance. Think of it like rinsing out a sponge, you want to keep things flowing freely.

If you’re unsure how to backwash or how often you should do it based on your system, feel free to reach out or ask your technician during your next service. We’re happy to walk you through it.

If you shock your pool with a standard 10L chlorine jug, we recommend waiting 24 hours before swimming. This allows the water to circulate through the system. This will apply to any type of chlorine treatment. 

We recommend testing the water once per week. The water chemistry can change based on the weather. When it is really hot, chlorine can burn off quicker. When it rains the PH and Alkalinity are affected. Testing your pool water once a week allows you to keep your water balanced, making it safe to swim for everyone.

Weak suction can be caused by a few things:

1. Lots of debris in the skimmer basket
2. The filter needs to be backwashed or cartridges need to be cleaned
3. The vacuum hose may not be connected fully
4. water level might be too low and not allowing enough water to go through the system 
5. Your lines might be clogged

If your water is cloudy it is often because your chlorine level is low. If you have a salt cell you can put it into “super chlorinate mode” which will boost chlorine levels. If you use a chlorinator you can add more chlorine pucks and turn up the production. Of course if it is very cloudy, you can always shock the pool with 10L of chlorine but remember you shouldn’t swim for 24 hours after doing this!

The day after the service has been completed,  if we close your pool on Monday you will be charged Tuesday. We do require a credit card before the appointment to get you all booked in. 

We really wish we could say yes to this but unfortunately it all depends on the pool and how dirty it is (i.e lots of debris, green, leaves).
