    your questions answered

    • Can I pay on-site for closings and openings?

Sure! We allow on-site payment for closings and openings, which many customers find convenient. That said, we still ask for a valid credit card number when you book the service to secure your appointment. Life happens, plans change, emergencies come up, or maybe you get last-minute concert tickets, and we need a way to keep your booking organized in case you’re no longer available. Your card won’t be charged unless the appointment is missed or canceled late. We aim to keep the process flexible for you while also protecting our team’s time and schedule. If you have questions, just reach out.

    • Cancellation or rescheduling fee?

During our busy season (April – June & September – October). We do charge a cancellation fee if you cancel less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.

    • Do I have to be home for my pool opening?

Nope! You do not need to be home for your scheduled pool opening. All we ask is that you ensure we have full access to your pool and backyard so our technicians can safely and efficiently perform the service. That includes unlocking gates and removing any obstructions in the work area. We’ve done thousands of openings for customers who aren’t home, and everything runs smoothly as long as we can get in. If there are any special instructions, you can leave us a note when you book. Sit back and let us get your pool summer-ready!

    • How long does it take to open my pool?

On average its 2 hours. However this ranges from pool to pool depending on size, cover and condition of the pool.

    • How many visits is a full pool opening?

For tarp and water bag cover or a lock in cover. We come 2 times for a full pool opening. The first time 90% of the work is done but the water will be too low for us to start the pool system. We ask you to fill up the pool to the skimmer line, call us and then we will come back to start the system.

    • I want to be home for my pool opening, will you call me on your way?

Of course! Just let our admin staff know when you book the appointment and they will add a note to your file.

    • What time will you come to open my pool?

Unfortunately it’s really hard for us to give an exact time of when we will be at your house. This is because we never know how long a pool will take to open until we get there! What we can do is send you an email the day before letting you know where you are on our list for the day and roughly what time we will be there at.

    • What’s included in a full pool opening and safety cover opening?

We like to assure our customers that our pool openings include pretty much everything to get you set up for the summer! The full list of what is included can be found on our swimming pool opening page.

    • When should I open my pool?

We have a full blog post outlining when you should open your pool. For the short and sweet answer usually one week in advance of when you plan to use it is best! If you have a safety cover – open it as soon as possible. Leaving your pool closed for too long will cause the water to go green and may take weeks to get clear again.

    What do our customers think?

    • I have been an entrepreneur for well over 25 years and I demand excellence in communication, accountability and transparency in my business and that is our MO for success depends on. I’ve been dealing with crush pools now for over four years and they do an excellent service from beginning to end. The front office staff is excellent. Kate, in particular is a spectacular representative of crush pools. Greg the owner is accountable and transparent and great at troubleshooting any issues that arise. The staff he hires are also amazing. I highly recommend this company to take care of your pool needs so you don’t have to.

    • EXCELLENT SERVICE! EXCELLENT VALUE!

We had a new pool installed just last summer and we needed a really pro company to open it, close it and maintain it… Crush pools did the trick in all three categories. These days you never really know what you’re going to get from a service company and, if you’re like us, when you find an operation that is really good you hold on to them like gold… The guys at Crush are absolutely fantastic! They’re super knowledgeable and really know their stuff. They’re honest! They’re rates are reasonable and they are reliable! We couldn’t ask for anything more. Finally!… a good pool company!
